Oh! Darling, Let's be Adventurers   Back to Gallery

I have been wanting to paint a dolphin for the longest time but used to get distracted or other visions took precedence. But June 2020, dolphin photography appeared on my Facebook feed and I was urged again. It may or may not mean anything but my curious mind wanted to explore more. So, I tried to find out what the dolphin represents or symbolizes.

Well, the dolphin represents – PEACE & HARMONY. Their gentle natures remind us to look for the good in everyone and strive to bring peace to our lives and those around us.

It represents PROTECTION. They teach us to not only protect ourselves, but to protect others in need.

It represents PLAYFULNESS AND JOY. People are often attracted to the dolphin power because of their playfulness. They remind us to take some time out of our busy lives to experience life.

Hold on, didn’t my article, “5 Ways to Navigate Your Adventurous Relationship” get published recently on marriage.com.

Whether it is art or my next topic for writing on relationships, my inspiration comes from some compelling observations or my own experiences that need to be put out there.

Ok, now back to dolphins. They also represent INNER STRENGTH & SELF-CONFIDENCE.  It tells us to speak our minds and be true to ourselves.

Dolphins also symbolize COOPERATION. It shows that if love exists between two people, it makes it easier to work out things without sacrificing one’s own needs.

Dolphins are also known for their loud and clear means of COMMUNICATION. It is said that Dolphin comes to those who need to reclaim their voice, communicating in effective, honest ways. Personally, I can vouch for that. I am learning to do it skillfully, using the best words.

It becomes noticeably clear now why it came to me.
